Urbano Project
Boston, MA
August 2022
Created by the ensemble
Directed by Sarah Plotkin
Over four weeks, teens at the Egleston Square Public Library and older adults at the Back of the Hill apartment complex learned about Climate Justice activism happening in Boston. The older adults then created a series of performances to help communicate the issues around climate change to their community, while the teens interviewed local scholars, activists and policy makers working to address issues of Climate Justice and created performances from what they learned.
This project was presented by Urbano Project as part of their Artist Residency program.
